In the third quarter of 2024, Romania's Android business app landscape saw significant activity, with varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of the top five business apps.

However, a recovery was observed towards the end of the quarter, with downloads increasing to 7.6K by late September. The app's weekly active users also followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 33.6K to 21.8K by mid-August, before rebounding to about 23.1K by the end of September.

Cargus Mobile showed a positive trajectory in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads began at 6.4K in early July, peaking at 9.1K in September before settling at 7.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this growth, increasing steadily from 35.4K to a high of 42.1K in late September.

Zoom Workplace displayed a stable revenue pattern, with weekly earnings fluctuating between $710 and $1.4K. Downloads saw a significant upsurge from 3.2K in early July to 7.7K in mid-September. Microsoft Teams maintained a steady presence, with downloads starting at 2.4K in July and surging to over 11K by the end of September. Active users increased similarly, starting at 27.5K and reaching 48.2K by the quarter's close.

Microsoft Authenticator observed consistent growth in downloads, beginning at 3K and rising to 6.7K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, with a slight increase from 59.9K to 67.9K.
